Our Story


Chef Cheryl grew up in Burlington, one of fourteen children. Her mother taught her from a very young age how to make ends meet and cook for their large family on a tight budget. After raising a family of her own, Cheryl had the opportunity to attend the world famous Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh where she learned to take her skills to a much higher level. Upon graduating second in her class, she began her mission to create her very own line of gourmet dips and crackers. She first started selling in public markets, retail stores and farmers markets throughout southwest Pennsylvania but when inspired with culinary influence she decided to open up The Little Red Kitchen.


At the Little Red Kitchen, she created the opportunity to serve her original recipes in panini's, daily made soups and farm fresh salads. Thanks to her energy, creativity and drive as well as a tremendous amount of support from the Burlington, Vermont community her dream deli quickly turned into a smashing success.


Now Chef Cheryl is at it again with even bigger dreams, spreading her Vermont famous dips across the US.
